Pengaruh Edukasi Kesehatan dengan Media Booklet Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Pencegahan Diabetes Melitus pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap pencegahan sejak usia sekolah dapat meningkatkan risiko diabetes melitus pada masa mendatang. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media booklet terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap pencegahan diabetes melitus pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 39 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (Cronbach's Alpha=0.938). Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pengetahuan meningkat dari 6.31 pada pretest menjadi 8.62 pada posttest dengan nilai p= < 0.001. Rata-rata skor sikap meningkat dari 5.82 menjadi 8.03 dengan nilai p= < 0.001. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat 35 positive ranks pada variabel pengetahuan dan 32 positive ranks pada variabel sikap. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media booklet berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap pencegahan diabetes melitus pada siswa sekolah dasar.
