Hubungan Obesitas dengan Kejadian Osteoartritis di RSUD Kota Kendari

Meningkatnya angka obesitas di masyarakat, termasuk di Kota Kendari, diduga turut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kasus osteoartritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara obesitas dengan kejadian osteoartritis pada pasien di RSUD Kota Kendari. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 89 pasien yang berobat di Poli Ortopedi RSUD Kota Kendari selama periode Januari hingga Juli 2025 dan dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan untuk menentukan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari rekam medis pasien yang mencatat diagnosis osteoartritis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (? = 0.05). Sebagian besar responden berusia 50–59 tahun (37.1%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (60.7%), dan memiliki IMT ? 23 (61.8%). Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara obesitas dan kejadian osteoartritis dengan nilai p = 0.001. Responden dengan IMT ? 23 lebih banyak mengalami osteoartritis (75.5%) dibandingkan responden dengan IMT ? 22.9 (24.5%). Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara obesitas dan kejadian osteoartritis pada pasien di RSUD Kota Kendari.
