Pengaruh Media Audio Visual Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Tentang Pencegahan Diabetes Melitus Dalam Kehamilan di Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi

Di Provinsi Jambi, prevalensi diabetes melitus berdasarkan diagnosis dokter pada penduduk umur 15 tahun ke atas dengan presentase tertinggi ada di kota Jambi dengan angka 293%. Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) adalah diabetes yang terjadi saat kehamilan dan tidak memiliki penyakit diabetes sebelum hamil. Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) berkaitan erat dengan komplikasi seperti seksio sesaria, meningkatnya ketonemia, preeklamsia dan infeksi traktus urinaria, serta meningkatnya gangguan perinatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media audio visual terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang pencegahan diabetes melitus dalam kehamilan. Penelitian ini merupakan rancangan penelitian pre experiment yang digunakan adalah one group pre test and post test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil di Puskesmas Putri ayu. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling sebanyak 45 ibu hamil. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Univariat dan Bivariat. Analisis Bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata nilai pengetahuan ibu hamil sebelum diberikan video adalah 5.24 dengan nilai minimal 4 dan maksimal 8. Rata-rata nilai pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah diberikan video didapatkan 8.51 dengan nilai minimal 7 dan maksimal 10. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna (r-value 0.000) dari pengetahuan ibu hamil sebelum dengan pengetahuan sesudah diberikan intervensi. Ada pengaruh media audio visual terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang pencegahan diabetes melitus dalam kehamilan.
