Dampak Penerapan Continuity of Care terhadap Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak pada Periode Pascapersalinan: Scoping Review

Abstract

Continuity of Care (CoC) dipandang sebagai strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan maternal dan neonatal melalui hubungan yang berkesinambungan antara ibu dan tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan tinjauan literatur ini adalah meninjau secara sistematis bukti ilmiah mengenai dampak penerapan Continuity of Care terhadap kesehatan ibu dan anak pada periode pascapersalinan. Metode yang digunakan adalah scoping review ini menggunakan kerangka kerja Arksey dan O’Malley dan pedoman Joanna Briggs Institute. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada lima basis data PubMed, EBSCO (CINAHL), ERIC, Wiley Online Library, dan Google Scholar dengan periode publikasi 2010–2025. Dari 1.779 artikel yang ditemukan, 29 memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis secara naratif-tematik berdasarkan jenis intervensi, populasi, dan luaran penelitian. Hasil menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar studi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CoC memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesehatan ibu dan bayi. Dari aspek klinis, CoC menurunkan komplikasi obstetri, meningkatkan keberhasilan persalinan normal, keberhasilan inisiasi menyusu dini, serta menurunkan mortalitas maternal dan neonatal. Dari aspek psikologis, CoC berkontribusi menurunkan depresi postpartum, stres pengasuhan, dan meningkatkan bonding attachment ibu–bayi serta kepuasan ibu terhadap pelayanan. Dari aspek sistem, CoC terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, memperluas akses pada kelompok rentan, serta memperkuat pendidikan kebidanan melalui pembelajaran berbasis praktik berkelanjutan. Kesimpulan tinjauan literatur adalah Continuity of Care merupakan model pelayanan kebidanan yang efektif, efisien, dan humanistik, terbukti meningkatkan kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial ibu serta bayi pada masa pascapersalinan.
